Year 2000 "Compliance" -- a program or system that operates "accurately" in the manner in which it was intended as it relates to date operations when given a valid date containing century, year, month and day.
Akinsun Heat is Y2K Compliant We have taken necessary action to ensure year 2000 compliance. All of our present and future business systems and accompanying applications are year 2000 ready now. These systems include the following: - Computer hardware and operating system clocks roll over from 1999 to 2000 correctly (taking into account year 2000 is a leap year).
- Making sure the use of year-in-century (4-digit) date formats in application software products.MRP (Materials Requirements Planning).
- Engineering, accounting/financial requirements.
- Human Resources and telecommunications.
- Data processing for network and workstation levels
- Data processing for Internet and Intranet level.
All date calculations, comparisons and inter-operations will function accurately on our business systems and networks. We will continuously monitor and update files as needed and install only components that continue to meet year 2000 compliance.There will be no interruption of services or goods to our customers into the next millennium.
